Privacy Policy

Piece of Mind: Picture Puzzles is designed with your privacy in mind.

Data Collection

Piece of Mind does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. Specifically:

• No analytics or tracking — We don’t use any analytics frameworks or tracking pixels.
• No ads — There is no advertising SDK of any kind.
• No accounts — There is no sign-up, login, or user profile required to play.
• No network — The app makes no network calls and works fully offline. The only exception is a link you tap yourself, such as the Support or Privacy row in Settings, which hands off to Safari or the App Store.
• No third-party data sharing — Your data is not shared with anyone.

Your Photos

Piece of Mind turns pictures you choose into jigsaw puzzles. When you pick a photo from your library — or take one with the camera — the app copies that single image into its own on-device storage so it can slice it into pieces and let you resume later. Your photos:

• Never leave your device — they are not uploaded, backed up to us, or shared with any third party.
• Are only accessed when you choose a picture; the app does not browse or scan your library on its own.
• Are removed when you delete the puzzle that uses them, or when you delete the app.

On-Device Storage

Piece of Mind uses standard iOS on-device storage to save your puzzles, your in-progress piece positions and elapsed time, best times, and settings. The imported picture for each puzzle is stored in the app’s own storage area. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third party. Deleting a puzzle removes its data, and deleting the app removes everything.

In-App Purchases

Piece of Mind has no in-app purchases and no subscription. It does not process, receive, or store any payment information. The one Apple service the app does use is the standard “rate this app” prompt, which Apple presents and Apple handles; the app learns nothing about it, and whether you rate it or not is between you and the App Store. Settings also has a “Rate Piece of Mind” row and Support and Privacy rows, which simply open the App Store or this GitHub page in the appropriate app.

Replays and Shared Images

If you leave replays on, each solve is saved as a small list of your own moves so it can be played back. That log, like everything else, stays in the app’s on-device storage. A finished picture or an exported replay video leaves your device only when you send it somewhere with the standard iOS share sheet, and then it goes wherever you chose to send it.

Children’s Privacy

Piece of Mind does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above.
